BENEFITS OF GROUP TRAVEL ON A RIVER CRUISE

Updated: Feb 26, 2023

Whether your potential group is made up of friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, yoga buddies, book groups, garden club members, or wine enthusiasts, traveling is an enriching and rewarding experience, and you'll find that to be even more true when you share it with others.

You may even be able to take your group on a special themed sailing that focuses on your areas of interest such as biking, wine, art, photography, genealogy, and more.

The benefits of group travel extend far beyond shared experiences. If you are someone who enjoys traveling but does not love planning all the trip details, then traveling with a group is your perfect solution. Just imagine going on the vacation of a lifetime with all of your best friends, and the only decision you have to make is what to pack in your bag. With all of the inclusions built-in and logistics handled, you are free to enjoy the experience without worrying about the details.

Group travel is also one of the more cost-effective ways to travel. With river cruising, typically a "group" minimum size will only be 5 cabins or 10 people. And your ship will sail with less than 200 guests already, so forget about large crowds. You may also be entitled to additional perks and amenities while traveling with a group. With larger groups, you can even have input into designing your own shore excursions and activities.

Traveling with a group of people can push you to try things you might never do on your own, such as biking through a small city, or trying that dish on the menu in Hungary that you can't quite pronounce. It forces you out of your comfort zone and allows you to discover new things while making the most of your river cruise.

Perhaps the best part about traveling as a group is being able to share all of your greatest travel moments with some of your closest friends while also making new friends. You'll be amazed at how quickly you connect with people while cruising down the Danube River and biking through a quaint European city or touring a medieval castle. Traveling provides people with the opportunity to bond through new experiences in a way that you wouldn't normally be able to do at home. Sharing these experiences will also help create lifelong memories and strengthen bonds between you and your group that will last long after the cruise is over.

Starting a group is as easy as reviewing itineraries with me and choosing one. From there, I'll be your partner each step of the way, from handling all the travel details for guests, working with the cruise line, selecting staterooms, securing air, travel insurance, and answering questions. I'll also assist you with marketing, whether it's an in-person or virtual "cruise night", preparing marketing materials, and more.

Message me to get started today- the opportunities and benefits have never been better!
